Anthony was born in Des Moines, IA. He moved around as a child due to his dad's job and lived in Des Moines, St. Louis, and Toledo. His parents then settled in Southlake, TX where Anthony went to high school. Thanks to friends and an ex-girlfriend, Anthony decided to go to Texas A&M- which ended up being one of the best decisions of his life. :) He walked on the football team at A&M and definitely earned his keep. He was 12th Man MVP and played a few defensive positions. Anthony was also a Sigma Chi and met a lot of really great guys through that. He graduated with his masters in 2005 and went to work for Jackson & Cooksey. He now works for Stream Realty and runs the Tenant Rep division. He loves all sports, doing the yard (yuck!), relaxing on the couch, and being outside. He has one sister, Andrea.
I (Courtney!) was born in Houston, TX. I lived in one house for the first three years of my life, and then moved the same house that my parents STILL live in! They've been there for 29 years and have no plans for moving any time soon! I went to Stratford HS and also decided to head to Texas A&M (thanks to an ex-boyfriend and most SHS people going to UT- I wanted to be different...). I joined Chi Omega my freshman year and made some of the absolute best friends I could ever imagine. I served on the executive board and loved it! I graduated in 2004 and taught for 6 years before "retiring" to have a baby. I love being a stay at home mom, and enjoy volunteering at the Junior League and being involved in church. I have three fabulous sisters (Jennifer, Kiki, and Michelle).
Jay was born in August of 2010 and was the greatest blessing we could have imagined. We enjoyed 9 precious months with him before (SURPRISE!) we found out we were pregnant again! Charley Kate made her debut in February of 2012 and has been the other greatest blessing we could have imagined. Our kids are the absolute light of our lives. There is not ONE day we take for granted with them. We cherish our evenings together as a family and love spending time doing things together on the weekends. Anthony and I LOVED to travel before the kids were here. We're ok putting it on hold for now, but look forward to the day when we can take them (and our others!) with us.
So that's us. In a nutshell. Questions? Just ask!
Here's our love story.
