Say it ain't so!
Our baby girl is ONE?! One. Why does it seem so young when you are talking about other people's children, but when it's your own it sounds SO big?!
A year ago last night we went into the hospital to start the induction. We had a "last supper" of sorts, kissed our bigs goodbye, checked into our hospital room, and got settled in for what was supposed to be a long night ahead. Little did we know that just a few short hours later, our new and perfect gift would arrive.
At 4:14 am on Thursday, May 22, we welcomed our precious Molly June Squillante into this world! Screaming and wailing and making her presence known!
Though Molly had a rough first couple weeks (she was just trying to get her lungs a great workout), she turned out to be a dreamy newborn. I don't know if it was that she was really that easy, or if having two older kids was such a distraction I just didn't have time to notice otherwise.
She turned out to be my latest crawler (just by a few weeks!) but quickly figured out how much fun it was to be on the move keeping up with her siblings. So much that she was my earliest walker! She developed the most adorable personality and became my little buddy- so go-with-the-flow and a great sense of humor.
She brought a whole new dimension to our family- one that we had no idea we were even missing. This child is so adored by her siblings and parents. She is the perfect addition and has found her little place in our crazy crew.
Molly, we are SO thankful you were placed in our family! We can't wait to see you grow and learn more about who you are. You have made us happier than we could have ever imagined. Happy first birthday, precious girl.
